Description
A switch designed to perform the function of opening and/or closing of one or more electrical circuits. In lieu of separable contacts, the switching function is accomplished by means of an arrangement of semiconductors and passive circuit devices. The item functions in response to electrical changes in its own internal circuit caused by the approach of permanent magnets, metals, capacitance or inductance.
